General hydrogeology

Tyumen: TSOGU, 2015. — 51 p.In the study guide are considered the main sections of the general hy-drogeology: hydrogeology as a branch of geology, hydrologic cycle, understanding of the aquifer and its main elements, properties of the aquifer, quality and chemistry water. The purpose of the study guide is to familiarize a Russian-speaking students with the terms accepted in English hydrogeological literature. The basis of writing an English study guide were book C.W. Fetter «Applied hydrogeology» (some chapters of the study guide contain a brief content chapters of this book), materials of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and the British Geological Survey.
The study guide recommended for high school students enrolled in the specialty 21.05.02 «Applied Geology», direction «Search and ex-ploration of groundwater and engineering geological surveys» and PhD students of specialization «Hydrogeology».
